teehee energy joke ^^^

Chakras are the energy centers of our spiritual selves. They exist on the spiritual plane. Humans, despite popular belief, are amazing creatures of not only light and darkness, but also are incredibly special because they exist on both the terrestrial and spiritual planes. This puts us in a unique position to have autonomy over our livelihoods and our universal fate. And we could be like this guy:

As we have already discussed in our previous posts on energy, energy is in everything, but how is it that humans have the ability to manipulate our personal energy for manifestation? Chakras. There are 7 chakras, which we will detail below with their correspondences. Our chakras, being energy centers, are the points that affect our entire being from our auras and emotions to our physical bodily functions. In the more scientific world of things, Eileen Day McKusick has found a way to tune the electromagnetic field generated by chakras to balance them. Her research shows that tuning not only helps with emotional ailments but also physical ailments as well. The magickal world of chakras even reaches into the mundane whether mundanes are aware of it or not!

Often, when referring to chakras people say they are “out of balance” or “balanced”. When a chakra is “out of balance” it means there is either not enough energy or there is too much energy going through the center. Think of each chakra like a revolving wheel on a mill. When there is a constant flow the mill works as it should by producing flour which nourishes the surrounding countryside. Similarly, when there is a constant flow of energy through a chakra, its electromagnetic field produces even medium tones which positively affect our spirits and bodies. On the other hand, when the mill’s flow of water is blocked, the mill ceases to produce flour. As for the chakras in a situation where the flow of energy is blocked, it produces little to no energy and the electromagnetic field produces low uneven tones which affect the spirit and body negatively. Think of ailments like depression, anxiety, anger, stomachaches, headaches, etc. However, in the event that there is a flood of water to the mill’s wheel, the mill’s grinder becomes dangerous and difficult to manage. Likewise, when a chakra receives too much stimulation, a person can end up being chaotic, manic, overexcitable, narcissistic, etc.

Each chakra works different parts of the body and the spirit. As you’ll see below, they each require different balancing techniques. Here is a quiz you can take to see how your chakras stand now. You can also look up guided meditations for each chakra on youtube.

Note. Yes, some of the correspondences are duplicated throughout the chakras, because the chakras cannot exist without the other. In meditating with crystals or oils, one should determine the metaphysical properties of the intended ingredients to make sure they line up with the chakra that you are trying to unblock for the reason it is blocked.

Well we hope this was a helpful crash course on chakras! That’s all folks!
